Stair Stringers
Save time when building your next stairs by purchasing pre-made stair stringers.
Installation is easy - you only need a drill and 5mm hex head bit!
• Stringers are stocked in Treated Pine. Other timbers are available on order.
• Rise of Stair = 165mm Going = 240mm Width is variable.
• Threaded rod is recommended to lock stringers together
• Sawtooth supports should be placed at a MAXIMUM of 1200mm apart. Therefore, if your stair is 2500mm wide, you will require 2 sawtooth supports.
• If the stair does not reach a wall or post, you will need to cut off the rooster head of the stringer.
• Protect your stairs immediately after installation by painting or staining. Unprotected timber will crack, split and turn grey. It is recommended to use a finish with a slip resistance.
• Stairs must be fixed to the building securely. Installation is recommended by a professional.
